Do you remember when...?

Dad worked and Mom was able to stay and be Mom?
Fast food was a running rabbit?
No matter where you caught them, you could eat the fish?
Vegetables were fresh, ripe, and tasted like what they were supposed to be?
There was a car company called Studebaker?
Packard?
Nash?
A ten-speed bicycle was rare; and everyone rode those old single-speed bikes with balloon tires?
Putting a piece of cardboard so that the spokes hit it; and it 'sounded like a motorcycle'?
'Liar' was something bad to be; and calling someone such meant having to prove it?
Braceros, not machines, picked cotton?
You got a LOT of candy for a nickle?
.22 shells were $.25 for a box of 50.
Fish hooks were 3 for a penny?
You fixed your own flats?
Tires had innertubes?
There was no such thing as McDonald's, Whataburger, Burger King, KFC, etc.?
The neighbors had a real brick barbecue pit; and would always invite the neighbor kids when they were using it?
Milk was $.25 a quart; and always had cream on top?
Those were the days...
