Taxes...@#$%%!

My tax return went out yesterday am. I took a loss for the 2nd year in a row.

Most people don't know this; but the fact is that the 16th Amendment was originally intended to give the gov't something to 'get' people like Al Capone with.

The fact is, they didn't need the money until the Democrats started buying votes with things like welfare, WIC, etc. Everyone thinks that the income tax is what pays for things like roads, bridges, wars, etc.; but the income tax only pays for social programs. Roads, bridges, and other infrastructure are paid for by other taxes (gas tax, tobacco taxes, liquor taxes, various transportation taxes, and so forth. There are so many taxes, you could spend weeks compiling a list of them. War? Paid for by other taxes than the income tax.
