R.I.P. Ronald Reagan

Yesterday, Ronald Reagan, 40th president of this country, passed away from pneumonia complicated by late-term Alzheimer's Disease.

Known as 'The Great Communicator', President Reagan is widely credited with causing the Soviet Union to destroy it's self. Some people think that he actually destroyed the menace of Communism and ended the Cold War; but the Communists simply went underground and the Cold War went with them. That, however is not the subject of this entry.

At a time when the Democrats controlled both houses of Congress, Reagan was in control. He accomplished so much that Democrats still attempt to attack him. They still attempt to stick Iran-Contra on him; but the facts put the lie to their allegations. The Liberal media this morning were portraying him as a tax increaser (actually, he just changed the tax laws).

Ronald Reagan was probably the greatest President this country ever had. His accomplishments are still making our lives better and safer today.
