Liberals vs Conservatives - Conservatives

Let's examine Conservatives...

A true Conservative believes that the Constitution spells out the duties and responsibilities of government. Conservatives are not as feelings-oriented as Liberals. They would prefer that the gov't stick to things like defense and infrastructure.

Marijuana and other drugs of that type are not a part of their lives. Some, myself included, do not even drink.

Conservatives may be religious, or not. They are aware, though, that the First Amendment's statement on religion has two clauses; and for a reason. It is there to prevent the gov't from establishing a state-sponsored religion, as had happened in England (causing the exodus to America).

Conservatives tend to think with their heads, not their hearts. This, unfortunately, leaves them vulnerable to charges from the Liberals that they 'don't care' about people. It isn't true; but that's what the Left says.

The fact is, that Conservatives DO care. They don't want gov'ts taking your property and giving/selling it to some other private individual or firm because gov't can get more tax money that way. Neither do they believe that gov't should take your earnings and give them to someone whose only disability is an aversion to work.
