Just a Tip About Cooking With Wine Or Beer
When cooking in a crockpot, reduce or eliminate beer or wine. Because a crockpot cooks at a low temperature and preserves the liquids in whatever you are cooking, your food may have a strong flavor of beer or wine. I save the beer or wine for stove top cooking, where most of the beer or wine flavor will be boiled away.
